Soon after the Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced night curfew following the surge in COVID-19 cases, the film and television industry leaders have sprung into action and planning strategies to shoot during the night curfew and restricted timings.

General Secretary Ashok Dubey when contacted mentioned, “We have shot our movies and tv serials throughout the earlier night curfew however we will probably be calling a gathering of our advisors to sort out the current situation. There are so much of circumstances which are discovered on movie and television sets so we want to work out a plan to make our members secure”.

When requested if the shooting of massive songs and scenes with so much of folks could have to managed, Dubey mentioned, “We have already instructed our members to keep away from such crowded scenes up to now too and can warning them once more.”

It is learnt all the large songs with over 50 dancers is not going to be shot until the COVID circumstances come down. Night reveals could get affected too.

JD Majithia of Indian Film and Television Producers Council stated,”We have already cautioned our members against large gatherings on film and television sets. In fact we have circulated a letter to our members where we have clearly stated that we are at the September 2020 situation again and therefore told our producers to avoid outdoor shoots immediately. Restrict number of junior artistes on sets. Ensure that all crew members are insured and restrict crew size to 33 percent like it was in July 2020″.
