The upcoming comedy extravaganza Welcome to the Jungle is making headlines not just for its franchise legacy, but for its sheer scale. In an industry where managing schedules for even two superstars is a logistical hurdle, director Ahmed Khan has assembled a staggering 27 prominent actors for a single project. Veteran comedian Rajpal Yadav recently opened up about the “madness” that defines this massive production.

In a conversation with Pinkvilla about the project, Yadav expressed his excitement for what he calls a once-in-a-generation ensemble. Highlighting the scale of the film, he stated:

Mujhe woh saubhagya mila woh karne ka jisme 27 actors ka jama bhaada dekhoge. Shayad, abhi tak ke cinema ke 20 saalon main ka ek huge cast dekhne ko milegi.

(I feel fortunate to have been part of it, where you’ll see a massive ensemble of 27 actors. Perhaps, in the last 20 years of cinema, you won’t have seen a cast this big.)

While he dodged direct talk regarding the long-awaited Hera Pheri 3, he urged fans to follow his upcoming timeline. He noted that before they see him in the Hera Pheri universe, they must experience the “mad, mad, mad” world of Welcome to the Jungle, which is expected to arrive in about two months.

Yadav also highlighted another intriguing project, Police Station Mein Bhooth, which he believes marks a grand homecoming for director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV). Reflecting on RGV’s influence on his career and the industry, he said:

Uss film se RGV Sir is back. Ek half century ke baad, Rangeela se lekar Company, phir unhone apni tarah ki films bhi kiye aur ab half century ke baad aa rahe hain.”

(With this film, RGV Sir is back. After a gap, from Rangeela to Company, he made his own kind of films, and now he is returning.)

Before the “jungle” chaos begins, Yadav will be seen in Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Ekta Kapoor. He described this project as more than just a horror-comedy, noting it carries a psychological element similar to Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Reflecting on the industry’s evolution, Yadav expressed immense pride in the global recognition Indian cinema is receiving. He remains confident that with the acceptance he has received from the audience and the industry’s growing business, Indian films are on the verge of achieving unprecedented global success.

For now, fans can catch him in Bhooth Bangla, where he reunites with a powerhouse cast including Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Manoj Joshi
