Ola has paused operations of its food delivery arm, Ola Foods, with the service no longer visible on the company’s ride-hailing app in recent days. The platform is also not accepting orders on ONDC, signalling that the halt extends across all channels where Ola previously operated its cloud-kitchen brands.
According to people familiar with the development, the company has temporarily suspended its food business while it reviews the long-term viability of the segment. Ola is currently reassessing the role of non-core verticals in its portfolio and evaluating whether Ola Foods should be revived later or phased out completely.
The pause comes amid a broader restructuring effort within the Bhavish Aggarwal-led organisation, with most activities linked to Ola Foods reportedly on hold during this review period.
Ola has not issued an official statement yet, and more clarity is expected once the internal evaluation is complete.
