Varroc Engineering Ltd., a global tier-I auto components group, has announced the launch of the third edition of its flagship innovation challenge, Eureka Challenge 3.0 – Ignite Innovation. The initiative is designed to engage and empower India’s brightest engineering minds to tackle real-world challenges in the evolving mobility ecosystem.
The competition, hosted on Unstop, invites participation from undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students across the country, particularly targeting pre-final-year students graduating in 2027. It is open to disciplines such as Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, E&TC, IT, Mechanical, Automobile, and allied branches. Participants can join individually or in teams of up to four members, providing a platform to apply technical knowledge and showcase creativity.
Building on the success of its previous editions, which saw participation from thousands of students nationwide, Eureka Challenge 3.0 will follow a structured, multi-stage evaluation process. Participants are required to download problem statements from the platform and submit their solutions in the form of a detailed PowerPoint presentation, along with an optional simulation video. The challenge encourages creativity and innovation, with no restriction on the number of ideas submitted.
Arjun Jain, CEO – Business I, Varroc, commented on the launch, stating, “The future of mobility is in safe, smart, and sustainable innovation that enables a safer road and a greener tomorrow. At Varroc, we are committed to building the next generation of automotive talent that will enable and inherit this transition. We look to do this by providing internal platforms that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and real-world application of engineering principles. Eureka is one of these platforms, and feeds into our incredibly successful Graduate Engineer Trainee program.”
The competition offers participants the opportunity to gain hands-on industry exposure, interact with Varroc’s domain experts, and showcase their technical and strategic capabilities. Top performers stand a chance to win attractive rewards, including cash prizes and potential pre-placement offers (PPOs) with Varroc.
As a global organisation focused on safe, smart, and sustainable mobility, Varroc is committed to building a strong innovation ecosystem by bridging academia and industry. Eureka Challenge 3.0 reinforces the company’s effort towards nurturing talent and enabling collaborative problem-solving for real-world mobility challenges.
Registrations are now open. Interested participants can apply through the Unstop platform.
