Uno Minda Ltd has announced significant changes in its senior management as well as plans for investment in renewable energy. These decisions were made during the company’s board meeting held on 30 March 2026.

In a strategic move, Mr. , who has been serving as the CEO of the Aftermarket Domain, will transition to the role of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Advisor for the Aftermarket Domain. Mr. Kher, who has been with since 2004, brings a wealth of experience with over 40 years in strategy, business transformation, and project management. His academic credentials include a B.Tech. from REC Rourkela, an M.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur, and an MBA from PMS, Delhi.

Additionally, Mr. , previously the Business Head of the Aftermarket Domain, has been elevated to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Aftermarket Domain. Mr. Kaul is recognised for his extensive experience of over 25 years in the automotive aftermarket, consumer electronics, and industrial products sectors.

Another key appointment is Mr. , who will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the 4W lighting and ASEAN sectors. Mr. Johri was previously the Deputy CEO of the LAS Domain.

In a separate development, Uno Minda has approved investments in Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) for sourcing renewable energy. The company, along with its subsidiaries Uno Mindarika Pvt. Ltd. and Uno Minda Kyoraku Ltd., will invest up to ₹750.20 lacs in equity shares of SPVs, including Hexa Energy MH7 Private Limited and RC Green Powers Private Limited, to source power through wind and solar energy.

These strategic decisions reflect Uno Minda’s commitment to enhancing its leadership team and advancing its sustainability initiatives.
