United Breweries has secured environmental clearance for its proposed Greenfield Brewery in Uttar Pradesh. The clearance, dated 17 March 2026, was granted by the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The brewery, located at Plot No. 3, Industrial Manufacturing & Logistics Cluster, Unnao, is set to have a capacity of 1.3 million hectolitres per annum. This development follows earlier announcements made by the company in February and November 2025 regarding the project.
