Truecaller has recently crossed two key subscription milestones. As of May 17, 2025, the app surpassed 3 million paying subscribers globally. A separate milestone was achieved on May 27, with over 1 million subscribers on iOS.

According to company data, Truecaller had 2.86 million total subscribers as of March 31, 2025, including 0.86 million iOS users. On December 31, 2024, the total was 2.72 million, with 0.82 million on iOS. This reflects a growth rate of roughly 16% in iOS subscribers since March-end.

The company attributes this uptick to recent updates on iOS and the addition of new AI-powered features. These include an AI assistant, advanced spam blocking, fraud protection, and the Live Caller ID feature, which became available for iOS premium users in January.

CEO Rishit Jhunjhunwala highlighted that improvements to the premium offering and the introduction of a family plan have contributed to increased adoption. The family plan allows users to add up to four members at a discounted rate.

Truecaller continues to position its premium services as tools for enhanced mobile communication, focusing on identity and security features.
