Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and have announced a multi-year partnership to enhance and assessment for global industries. This collaboration aims to build future-ready workforces by integrating AI-driven insights and cloud-led transformation at scale.

The partnership will leverage Pearson’s expertise in enterprise learning and assessment alongside TCS’ leadership in Contextual AI and its TCS iON digital learning platforms. This initiative seeks to empower enterprises by bridging skill gaps and driving business innovation through AI-powered learning.

Omar Abbosh, CEO of Pearson, highlighted the importance of equipping employees with the necessary skills to work alongside new technology, stating that productivity increases when employees are confident in their abilities. He emphasised that the partnership will help organisations close skills gaps by integrating learning into the flow of work, thereby enabling teams to build skills faster and solve business challenges using AI.

K Krithivasan, MD and CEO of TCS, noted that AI is reshaping work processes and stressed the importance of organisations enabling their workforce to work alongside intelligent systems. He stated that the collaboration with Pearson will help organisations develop adaptable and skilled workforces for the future.

The partnership will focus on several strategic areas, including enabling future-ready workforces, co-developing AI-led products, and strengthening early career and workforce readiness. TCS will incorporate Pearson’s Versant English proficiency assessment into its hiring and workforce development programmes to support language and communication skills development.

Additionally, Pearson’s solutions will be integrated into the TCS iON digital platform, creating an end-to-end talent architecture for the AI-first economy. This integration will help enterprises and governments meet evolving skill requirements, build verified talent pipelines, and navigate workforce transformations with agility and precision.

Pearson’s research indicates that enabling workers to collaborate with AI could significantly boost the U.S. economy by 2034. The partnership with TCS aligns with Pearson’s strategy to build comprehensive relationships with select partners to deliver improved customer outcomes and shared growth.
