Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ABB to further strengthen their strategic collaboration in IT infrastructure, digital and industrial AI initiatives, and other emerging technologies. The MoU aims to drive innovation, operational resilience, and sustainable growth through a long-term partnership.
The collaboration will leverage ABB’s leadership in electrification and automation alongside TCS’ global technology and delivery capabilities. Key areas of focus include IT infrastructure and applications transformation, AI and factory modernization, and AI infrastructure development opportunities.
Morten Wierod, CEO of ABB, highlighted the importance of partnering with TCS to build smarter systems and scale innovations globally, especially in India, which remains a significant growth market for ABB. K. Krithivasan, MD and CEO of TCS, emphasized the partnership’s goal to move beyond incremental transformation and create intelligent, resilient industrial solutions at scale.
