SuperGaming, the Pune-based gaming studio, announced that its flagship first-person shooter (FPS) game MaskGun has surpassed 100 million players globally across Android and iOS platforms.

Since launch, MaskGun has recorded over 40 million hours of gameplay and the creation of millions of clans, making it one of India’s most successful community-driven shooters. The game runs on SuperGaming’s proprietary SuperPlatform, designed to power large-scale multiplayer and social gaming experiences.

To mark the milestone, SuperGaming has rolled out a two-week in-game celebration featuring exclusive rewards including the Midas 100M Crate, double XP, refreshed splash screens, clan leaderboard prizes, and recognition for top community members in the game’s credits.

“When we started making MaskGun, we never imagined it would become a community this large and vibrant. This milestone belongs entirely to our players. The best part about MaskGun has never been the guns or the maps; it’s the people. Their friendships, rivalries, and stories have made this journey special. Today we celebrate not just 100 million players, but 100 million connections,” said Roby John, CEO and Co-Founder of SuperGaming.

The milestone comes shortly after SuperGaming closed a $15 million Series B funding round led by global investors such as Skycatcher, Steadview Capital, a16z Speedrun, Bandai Namco 021 Fund, Polygon Ventures, Neowiz, and LOUD.GG. The company, valued at $100 million post-funding, plans to use the capital to expand internationally, accelerate SuperPlatform’s growth, and develop new original IPs.

Following MaskGun’s success, SuperGaming is gearing up for its next big release, Indus, an Indo-Futuristic battle royale title, which has already crossed 9 million downloads within its first year.
