Ganesh Green Bharat Ltd. (formerly known as Ganesh Electricals Private Limited) has announced that it has successfully secured a significant contract under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0, a flagship initiative aimed at promoting solar power in Maharashtra. The company emerged as the winner in a competitive bidding process for a solar power development project awarded by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).

The project involves the development of solar photovoltaic power generation stations with a total capacity of 9 MW (AC) under Component C of the PM KUSUM Scheme. The project is a major milestone for Ganesh Green Bharat, marking a new era of excellence and growth in the renewable energy sector.

The Letter of Award (LOA) for the project was received on October 9, 2024, and includes a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) that will be executed within 15 days from the issuance of the LOA. The applicable tariff for the project is set at ₹3.08 per unit, and the project is expected to generate approximately 4,51,687,500 units of energy over 25 years, resulting in an estimated revenue of ₹139.13 crore.
