Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, is calling on small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to work on clean energy solutions to apply for the latest ‘Innovative to Grow’ program.

The program was launched in 2020, and since then it has equipped over 600 SMEs with the knowledge and tools to explore research and developments (R&D) opportunities.

CSIRO has now partnered with Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE) to deliver the new Innovative to Grow: Clean Energy program.

The online program, which is free, will enable the Australian SMEs to supportive environment with expert facilitators, self paced deliveries, and experienced researchers to guide successful applicants through their technical or business challenges.

Executive Director of TRaCE, Professor Emmanuel Mastio, stated SMEs, startups, and scaleups are vital in building up sovereign supply chains on Australia’s path to a clean energy economy.
