Artificial Electronics signs MoU with Maharashtra government to setup facility for sapphire ingots with investment of Rs 10,000 crores

Artificial Electronics Intelligent Material Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for sapphire ingots and wafers at Mihan SEZ, Nagpur. The company plans to invest ₹10,000 crore over the next five years, boosting local manufacturing and job creation.

“We are pleased to announce that Artificial Electronics Intelligent Material Limited (‘Company’) has signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra for setting up manufacturing facility for Saphire Ingots and Wafers at Mihan SEZ, Nagpur Maharashtra with an investment of of Rs 10,000 Crores in next FIVE years,” the company shared in the exchange filing.”

The Maharashtra government will facilitate the necessary approvals, permissions, and incentives as per existing policies and regulations. This strategic collaboration aligns with India’s “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiatives, promoting high-tech semiconductor material production domestically.
