Arabian Petroleum Limited has successfully absorbed the technology for manufacturing “Universal Recoil Fluid (URF Plain, URF 75:25 & URF 80:20)” under the supervision of the Defence Materials & Stores Research & Development Establishment (DMSRDE), Kanpur.
The company is now fully equipped to manufacture these specialized lubricants, essential for defense applications, as per the Technology Transfer Document (TTD) issued by DMSRDE under License No. DRDO/DIITM/TOT/2024/1891. The license, valid for ten years, authorizes Arabian Petroleum to supply URF lubricants to the Indian Air Force and Indian Army.
The certification was granted based on the recommendation of the Director of DMSRDE, Kanpur, and has received the approval of the Director of the Defence Institute of Industrial Technology Management (DIITM).
This milestone positions Arabian Petroleum as a key defense supplier, further strengthening its footprint in India’s strategic defense sector.
