SKF India Limited has announced a change in the name of its promoter entity from ‘SKF Interim AB’ to ‘SKF Vertevo AB’. This alteration is part of a broader global rebranding initiative linked to the restructuring following the demerger of the Automotive and Industrial Business segments. The company emphasised that this change is limited to the entity’s name and does not affect its shareholding in SKF India or its status as a promoter.
The company is in the process of updating the new promoter name with various regulatory authorities, where applicable. Although the name change does not qualify as material information under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, SKF India has opted to voluntarily disclose this information as a measure of good governance and caution.
SKF India reiterated its commitment to complying with all applicable disclosure and corporate governance requirements under the SEBI Listing Regulations and other relevant laws concerning its promoter entity.
