SJVN’s 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh has achieved a new milestone by surpassing its highest-ever power generation record. On 26 March 2026, the power station exceeded its previous record of 2098.03 million units, which was set during the financial year 2019-20.

The announcement was made by Sh. , Chairman and Managing Director of , highlighting the significant achievement of the Rampur Hydro Power Station. The milestone was witnessed by Sh. , Director (Personnel) of SJVN, during his visit to the power house. During his visit, Sh. Sharma interacted with the team and appreciated their dedication and commitment to excellence. He congratulated the team and encouraged them to strive for even greater achievements in the future.

Sh. , Head of Project at Rampur HPS, attributed this success to the visionary leadership and unwavering support from the SJVN management, as well as the teamwork and relentless efforts of all employees involved. The achievement was celebrated in the presence of Sh. Rajeev Kapoor, Head of Project at NJHPS, and Sh. Vivek Sharma, Head of Project at LHEP-1, along with other senior officials.

Since its commissioning, the Rampur Hydro Power Station has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance, setting multiple benchmarks in power generation. Notably, the power station achieved its design energy target of 1,878 million units for the financial year 2025-26 on 8 December 2025, marking the fastest achievement since its commissioning.
