Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has received an ESG Rating Report from ESG Risk Assessments & Insights Limited (ESGRisk.ai), according to a recent announcement. The report, which was not commissioned or finalised in consultation with ONGC, provides an evaluation of the company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.
ESGRisk.ai is a SEBI-registered ESG rating provider, and the report was prepared with a focus on stakeholders’ employment services. Additionally, the Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report of ONGC has been reasonably assured by Bureau Veritas.
ONGC clarified that it did not engage ESGRisk.ai for the preparation of the report, indicating that the findings were independently assessed by the rating agency. This report is intended to inform stakeholders of ONGC’s ESG performance and is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to transparency and sustainability.
