Ola Electric reported a significant achievement in December with 30,219 registrations, securing a remarkable 40% market share in the EV 2W segment according to the VAHAN Portal. This achievement marks the company’s highest monthly registration and demonstrates substantial year-on-year growth of 74%. Furthermore, Ola Electric achieved an impressive quarter-on-quarter growth of 48%, totaling 83,963 registrations in the quarter ending December. The year-on-year growth for the quarter stands at an impressive 68%.

In addition to these milestones, Ola Electric has set an industry-first production record by manufacturing 4,00,000 scooters within just two years. This remarkable feat underscores the company’s commitment to scaling up its production capabilities rapidly. Notably, Ola Electric also became the first EV 2W manufacturer to surpass 2.65 lakh registrations in a calendar year, as reported on the VAHAN Portal.

Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer at Ola Electric Technologies Private Limited, expressed confidence in the company’s market leadership, citing the success of their product lineup, which includes the S1 Pro, S1 Air, and the S1 X+. Khandelwal credited the “December to Remember” campaign as a massive success, attracting thousands of new customers to embrace electric vehicles.

Ola Electric has recently expanded its scooter portfolio to include five distinct products catering to various preferences and requirements. Among these, the S1 Pro (2nd Generation) holds the flagship position, priced at INR 1,47,499, while the S1 Air is available at INR 1,19,999. The introduction of the S1X series, consisting of S1 X+, S1 X (3kWh), and S1 X (2kWh), further diversifies Ola Electric’s offerings. With competitive pricing and attractive offers, Ola Electric aims to continue its momentum in the dynamic EV market.
