NMDC Limited has reported a significant increase in its iron ore production for April 2026, reaching a total of 4.64 million tonnes (MT), compared to 4.00 MT in April 2025. This marks a notable growth in production for the company, reflecting its ongoing efforts to enhance output.

In the sector, ‘s production rose to 3.66 MT in April 2026 from 2.85 MT in the same month last year. Meanwhile, in , production was recorded at 0.98 MT, slightly down from 1.15 MT in April 2025.

Sales figures for April 2026 also showed an upward trend, with total sales reaching 3.68 MT, compared to 3.63 MT in April 2025. In Chhattisgarh, sales increased to 3.16 MT from 2.82 MT in the previous year. However, Karnataka experienced a decline in sales, with figures dropping to 0.52 MT from 0.81 MT in April 2025.
