NLC India has reported a record profit after tax (PAT) of ₹3,769 crore for the financial year 2025-26, marking a significant increase of 38.91% compared to the previous year’s ₹2,714 crore. The company also achieved an all-time high revenue from operations of ₹17,490 crore, up 14.44% from ₹15,283 crore in the previous year.

The company’s coal production reached 19.14 million tonnes (MT), an 11.28% increase from the previous year’s 17.20 MT. Revenue from operations on a standalone basis was ₹10,864 crore, a 5.62% increase from ₹10,286 crore in the previous year. The standalone profit after tax was ₹2,525 crore, a 32.90% rise from ₹1,990 crore in the previous year.

In terms of capacity expansion, added 1,013 MW, including 660 MW from thermal sources and 303 MW from renewable sources. The company also reported its highest-ever capital expenditure of over ₹9,131 crore.

NLC India’s net worth increased by 14.96% to ₹21,525 crore from ₹18,723 crore in the previous year. The company declared and paid an interim dividend of 36%, amounting to ₹3.60 per paid-up equity share, and recommended a final dividend of 2.50%, or ₹0.25 per paid-up equity share, subject to shareholder approval.

The company also achieved 100% collection efficiency of power debtors for FY 2025.
