Kansai Nerolac Paints has announced the resignation of Mr. Hirokazu Kotera from his position as Executive Director, effective from the close of business on 31st March 2026. Mr. Kotera’s resignation was directed by the promoter company, Kansai Paint Co. Ltd., Japan, which had nominated him to the board.
The company had previously communicated Mr. Kotera’s resignation in a letter dated 3rd February 2026, in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The resignation was officially confirmed in a recent update, along with the revised list of the board of directors as of 1st April 2026.
The current board of directors includes Mr. Bhaskar Bhat as Chairman and Independent Director, Ms. Sonia Singh as Non-Executive Director and Independent Director, Mr. Takashi Tomioka as Non-Executive Director, Mr. Pravin D. Chaudhari as Managing Director, Mr. Uday S. Bhansali as Non-Executive Director and Independent Director, and Mr. Gen Yokota as Non-Executive Director.
This change in the board composition follows Kansai Nerolac Paints‘ commitment to maintaining a robust governance structure in line with its strategic objectives.
