JBM Auto has informed the exchanges that it has signed a strategic partnership with LeafyBus to deliver 200 ultra-modern electric luxury buses. With this collaboration, the firm is taking a further step toward decarbonization and innovation in green public mobility, both of which are in line with its ESG and SDG goals.
In the exchange filing, the company shared, “Under the terms of the agreement, JBM Electric Vehicles Pvt Ltd will deliver 200 electric intercity buses equipped with advanced technology and features designed to provide a comfortable, safe, and ecofriendly travel experience for passengers. These buses are set to operate across various routes, enhancing the connectivity between cities while significantly reducing the carbon footprint of intercity travel. This momentous partnership between the two companies marks a pivotal step forward in revolutionizing intercity transportation by combining technology, luxury, safety and convenience.”
In the meantime, as of 1:31 pm, JBM Auto shares were trading 4.26% higher at Rs 1,979.85 on the NSE.
