On Friday, ITC Hotels said that it has partnered with Swiggy, an on-demand food delivery platform to offer ITC’s dining options to customers in the comfort of their homes.

ITC Hotel said that on all pre-paid orders, Swiggy will deliver ‘no-contact’ deliveries, which involves a delivery executive leaving the food order at the doorstep rather than an in-person exchange. The curated menus will bring unique food experiences from different regions for the diners across all the major cities in the country.

Proper measures and protocols including a temperature check for all chefs, staff and food and beverage associates will be implemented. ITC said its special takeout counter at each hotel is equipped with hand sanitizers and thermometers to ensure the health parameters of delivery boys.

In phase 1, ITC Hotels would begin with this partnership with Swiggy for many of its properties across the nation. These would include ITC Royal Bengal (Kolkata), ITC Rajputana (Jaipur), ITC Grand Chola (Chennai), ITC Gardenia (Bengaluru), ITC Maurya (New Delhi), ITC Windsor (Bengaluru), ITC Kohenur (Hyderabad). In phase 2, more ITC properties will be added later.

ITC Hotel’s COO Anil Chadha said, “We are re-engineering our guest experiences with zero/low associate engagement (including digital ordering and e-payment solutions). The partnership with Swiggy will assist us in responsibly delivering our unique culinary experiences using their advanced distribution network. Together we are committed to delivering a responsible guest experience.”
