Infosys and the have extended their strategic collaboration to enhance the digital infrastructure of the university’s Student Management System. This collaboration aims to modernise digital services, boost cloud capabilities, and create a future-ready academic environment across the university’s global campuses.

Building on a successful partnership since 2017, has supported the digital transformation of the University of Nottingham’s Student Information System. This initiative has streamlined application processes and improved compliance reporting, resulting in a 70% reduction in incident volumes, a 30% improvement in system availability and performance, and over a 35% reduction in infrastructure costs.

The collaboration will see Infosys maintaining the NottinghamHub, the university’s Student Information System, while enhancing key student lifecycle processes to improve both student and academic journeys. Additionally, the partnership will focus on modernising the university’s infrastructure to enhance application availability and strengthen web security with the implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Infosys will deploy its advanced technologies, including Infosys Cobalt and Infosys Topaz Fabric, to support this transformation. Infosys Cobalt provides services, solutions, and platforms for accelerating cloud journeys, while Infosys Topaz Fabric offers a multi-layer AI fabric that unifies infrastructure, models, data, applications, and workflows. Together, these technologies will play a crucial role in modernising operations, unifying systems, and automating processes for data-driven decision-making, benefiting 46,000 students and 12,000 staff across the university’s global campuses.
