Hindustan Aeronautics has announced the appointment of Kota Ravi, the current Chairman and Managing Director, as the interim Director of Operations. The Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has approved this additional charge for a period of three months starting from 1st May 2026, or until a new incumbent assumes the role, whichever occurs earlier.
Kota Ravi, who holds the Director Identification Number (DIN) 10807781, will oversee the operations of the company during this interim period. This decision comes as part of the company’s efforts to ensure continuity in its leadership and operations while the search for a permanent Director of Operations is underway.
The Ministry’s approval was conveyed through a letter dated 11th May 2026, ensuring that the transition in the company’s operational leadership is smooth and in compliance with the regulatory requirements.
