Greaves Electric Mobility has unveiled the all-new Magnus Neo, a variant under its Ampere brand, designed to enhance ride comfort and ease of handling. The Magnus Neo is engineered with a focus on a lighter build, smoother handling, and improved rider comfort, making it ideal for daily use. The vehicle’s lightweight construction and 10-inch rear tyre enhance manoeuvrability and control, particularly in urban environments.
The Magnus Neo builds on the existing Magnus platform, offering a balanced and accessible riding experience. Vikas Singh, Managing Director of Greaves Electric Mobility, emphasised the company’s commitment to comfort and practicality, stating that the new Magnus Neo is designed for Indian road conditions and aims to make electric mobility more accessible.
Key features of the Magnus Neo include ergonomic design enhancements for improved rider posture, a new wheel and motor configuration for smoother acceleration, and a lower seat height of 777 mm. The scooter also boasts a reduced kerb weight of 103 kg, facilitating easier handling in stop-and-go traffic. It is available in four contemporary colours: Mystic Mauve, Butter Yellow, Ocean Blue, and Matcha Green.
The Magnus Neo continues to uphold the reliability and durability associated with the Ampere brand. It holds a national record for the “Longest Journey by a City-Speed Family Electric Scooter,” covering over 2,300 kilometres from Bengaluru to Delhi. The platform features a robust dual-frame chassis and well-tuned brakes for a stable ride.
