Gravita India is set to enhance its lead recycling capacity with an investment of approximately ₹30 crore. The company aims to increase the capacity of its existing unit located at Phagi, Jaipur, from 35,319 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) to around 42,000 MTPA.
The expansion is expected to be completed by the end of June 2026. This strategic move is in line with Gravita India‘s long-term objectives to bolster its recycling capabilities and cater to the rising demand for sustainable lead products both domestically and internationally.
The company plans to finance this capacity addition through internal accruals, ensuring a smooth and efficient execution of the project. The current lead recycling unit is operating near full capacity, making this enhancement a timely and necessary step for the organisation.
