Godrej Enterprises Group’s Security Solutions business has become the first in the physical security industry to receive the prestigious GreenPro certification for its lockers, reaffirming its commitment to delivering sustainable and secure solutions.
The certification, awarded after rigorous evaluation of product design, renewable energy use, water recycling, eco-friendly packaging, and end-of-life management, highlights the brand’s focus on embedding sustainability across the product lifecycle. It will be valid for two years, with periodic renewal ensuring continued compliance with carbon emission criteria.

With 36% of our revenues already coming from Good & Green products, our aim is to scale this to 50% by 2030. The GreenPro certification of our lockers demonstrates how we are leading with our major revenue-generating products to meet this goal.”
To qualify, Godrej adopted multiple green practices including product stewardship, use of environment-friendly high-strength barriers, energy-efficient manufacturing, water conservation, waste management, and fostering a green supply chain. The certification covers products such as Strong Room Doors (Class B & C), High Security Class A Safes, home lockers, and safe deposit locker cabinets.
With this milestone, Godrej not only sets an industry benchmark but also reinforces its mission of pioneering responsible innovation that balances safety with sustainability.
