Firstsource Solutions Limited, a company under the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, has announced the launch of Kairos, an operating system designed to power ‘Intelligence That Operates.’ The system aims to bridge the gap between AI capabilities and operational realities, addressing a 540 basis point disparity in operational performance between enterprises effectively using AI and those still struggling.
Kairos is designed to integrate intelligence into workflows across the entire spectrum of enterprise transformation, from initial ambition to accountable outcomes. According to Ritesh Idnani, CEO and Managing Director of Firstsource, the challenge for organisations is not the availability of AI technology but the need to re-engineer operating models to fully leverage AI’s potential.
“Intelligence That Operates was the commitment. Kairos is the execution,” Idnani stated. He emphasised that the system is not an additional layer but an integrated solution that runs agentic workflows end-to-end, ensuring accountability for outcomes.
Firstsource has already implemented the Kairos model in various sectors, including healthcare and financial services, with significant results. In healthcare revenue cycle management, a 66% productivity gain and 80% automation of denials triage were achieved for a major US health system. In financial services, the reimagining of the KYC/AML process led to 25% cost savings and 83% faster customer onboarding for a leading UK fintech.
Kairos operates differently from traditional AI solutions by embedding a multidisciplinary team within client operations. This team includes strategy experts, process champions, engineers, and technology builders, all working together to ensure AI thrives within the client’s architecture and operating model.
The intelligence provided by Kairos is industry-specific, drawing from proprietary AI platforms tailored for sectors such as healthcare, banking, telecommunications, and retail. It also integrates an ecosystem of over 50 partners, including hyperscalers and vertical specialists, through the Firstsource operating model.
