Royal Enfield, a division of Eicher Motors, is set to expand its manufacturing capabilities with a new greenfield facility in Tada, Andhra Pradesh. The company plans to invest approximately ₹2,500 crores in this strategic expansion, which is subject to board approval and will be executed in phases based on future demand and market conditions.
Currently, Royal Enfield operates at nearly full capacity with an annual production of 14.6 lakh motorcycles. Earlier this year, the company announced a ₹958 crore investment to expand its Cheyyar, Tamil Nadu facility, aiming to increase total production capacity to 20 lakh units annually.

He highlighted the new investment in Andhra Pradesh as a critical step in Royal Enfield’s growth trajectory, augmenting its existing capacity and supporting future expansion.
The company currently operates four manufacturing facilities in Tamil Nadu and seven CKD facilities across various countries, including Bangladesh, Nepal, Brazil, Thailand, Argentina, and Colombia. Royal Enfield also boasts two technical centres in the UK and Chennai, India, and operates over 3,200 stores worldwide.
In the fiscal year 2026, Royal Enfield delivered over 1.2 million motorcycles, marking its second consecutive year of crossing the one million mark. The company achieved top rankings in the 2025 J.D. Power India two-wheeler initial quality survey and the FADA Dealer Satisfaction Survey. Additionally, it was ranked third among the World’s Strongest Automobile Brands in the Brand Finance Automotive Industry 2026 report.
