Cupid Limited has announced the acquisition of 8,00,000 equity shares by its promoter and Chairman, Mr. . This acquisition was made in the open market, as per the disclosure under Regulation 29(2) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. The transaction has resulted in an increase in Mr. Halwasiya’s shareholding in the company.

Prior to this acquisition, Mr. Halwasiya held 4,41,645,475 shares, representing 32.84% of the company’s total shareholding. The acquisition of 8,00,000 shares has increased his holding to 4,42,445,475 shares, which now constitutes 32.90% of the total shareholding. The overall promoter and promoter group, including Columbia Petro Chem Private Limited, now hold a total of 6,16,644,725 shares, accounting for 45.85% of the company’s total share capital.

The company’s equity share capital remains at ₹134,46,60,700, divided into 134,46,60,700 equity shares with a face value of ₹1 each. The total diluted share capital of the company, assuming full conversion of any outstanding convertible securities or warrants, stands at ₹134,70,00,000, divided into 134,70,00,000 equity shares.
