Zydus Wellness Limited has welcomed the government’s latest GST reform, calling it a “Diwali gift” for consumers, as several of its flagship brands will now attract a lower tax rate.

In a regulatory filing dated September 4, the company said the GST rate has been reduced to 5% on a wide range of its portfolio, including:

  • Complan

  • Glucon-D

  • Nutralite

  • Nycil

  • RiteBite Max Protein

  • SugarFree including D’lite

Additionally, existing products such as I’m Lite and ready-to-drink Glucon-D Activors will continue to remain under the 5% GST slab.

The company said the rate cut would make its products more affordable, stimulate consumer demand, and further strengthen its market position.

“The next generation of GST reforms announced by the government is truly a gift for every Indian this Diwali,” Zydus Wellness noted, adding that the revisions would have a positive impact on its portfolio performance going forward.

The company assured investors and exchanges that it will continue to share updates on how the reforms shape its outlook and growth trajectory.
