Eternal Limited, formerly known as Zomato Limited, reported a 34% sequential decline in net profit at ₹39 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, compared to ₹59 crore in Q3 FY25. However, on a year-on-year basis, profit fell sharply from ₹175 crore in Q4 FY24, marking a 77.7% decline.
The company’s revenue from operations came in at ₹5,833 crore, registering a robust 64% YoY growth from ₹3,562 crore in Q4 FY24 and a 7.9% sequential rise from ₹5,405 crore in Q3 FY25. Total income stood at ₹6,201 crore for the quarter, with other income contributing ₹368 crore.
Total expenses surged to ₹6,104 crore in Q4 FY25, up 67.8% YoY from ₹3,636 crore. The increase was led by higher employee costs (₹750 crore), delivery and related charges (₹1,552 crore), and advertisement and sales promotion (₹634 crore). Profit before tax stood at ₹97 crore, down from ₹124 crore in the previous quarter.
