Wipro Limited has secured a multi-million-dollar deal with Etihad Airways for comprehensive IT transformation and cost optimization. The five-year contract involves Wipro FullStride Cloud delivering customized cloud-based solutions to optimize operational agility, scalability, and real-time insights into resource utilization across Etihad’s global operations. Wipro will also integrate Generative AI modules for proactive management of IT operations, covering areas such as data center automation and intelligent device management.
Frank Meyer, Chief Digital Officer at Etihad Airways, highlighted that the partnership aims to elevate customer experiences through advanced automation and innovation. Vinay Firake, CEO for Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa at Wipro, emphasized their commitment to delivering seamless digital transformation in the aviation sector.
Additionally, Etihad will benefit from Wipro’s Innovation Lab in the UAE, enhancing its technology to meet dynamic industry demands. This deal builds upon Wipro’s two-decade-long presence in the Middle East and its global expertise in cloud transformation.
