Wipro Limited has launched the Wipro Innovation Network, a global initiative aimed at accelerating client-focused innovation by applying advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing. The network is intended to help solve complex challenges faced by businesses across various sectors.
The Innovation Network will concentrate on five key areas: agentic AI, robotics with embodied AI, quantum computing, digital ledger technology, and quantum-safe cybersecurity. It will integrate Wipro’s broader innovation ecosystem, including its Innovation Labs, partner collaborations, Wipro Ventures, the crowdsourcing platform Topcoder, and partnerships with academic and research institutions. The objective is to create a continuous cycle of ideation, research, and practical implementation.
As part of this initiative, Wipro has also opened a new Innovation Lab at its Kodathi campus in Bengaluru. This facility is designed to be a collaborative space where clients can explore emerging technologies and develop practical applications.
Wipro’s global Innovation Labs aim to provide hands-on experiences with various technology solutions. These include systems for software engineering, manufacturing applications using embodied AI, automotive cloud technologies, and AI-driven tools for sectors like finance and healthcare. The labs serve as a space for clients to work with Wipro’s teams to identify and build tailored solutions based on real business needs.
