Western Carriers (India) Limited has been awarded a significant work order from Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) for the transportation of finished goods, including zinc and lead ingots, from HZL’s smelting complexes to various locations across India.

The scope of this contract involves both domestic and export movement of goods from the Chanderiya Lead Zinc Smelter, Zinc Smelter Debari, Dariba Smelting Complex in Rajasthan, and the Pantnagar Metal Plant in Uttarakhand to key ports such as Mundra, Pipavav, and Mumbai, as well as HZL’s depots and customer sites.

This contract, with a value of approximately Rs. 170 crores, spans a period of four years. The award of this contract strengthens Western Carriers’ position in the logistics and transportation sector, ensuring a steady flow of business with one of India’s leading zinc producers.

The terms outlined in the contract specify that the transportation services will include both domestic and export shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of critical industrial goods.
