Welspun Specialty Solutions Limited (WSSL) recently informed exchanges that the company has been declared the L1 bidder by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL, Trichy) for the supply of approximately 4,050 tons of stainless steel seamless boiler tubes.
In the exchange filing, the company shared, “Welspun Specialty Solutions Limited (WSSL) has been notified as L1 bidder by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL, Trichy) for supply of approx 4,050 tons of Stainless steel Seamless Boiler Tubes for series of Super critical Thermal Power Projects. Formal contract will be released after internal approval process at BHEL.”
WSSL had participated in the said tender after stringent assessment and subsequent approval by BHEL.
The total value of the supply contract is estimated at around Rs. 231.77 crores, excluding GST. This significant contract underscores WSSL’s strong position in the specialty steel solutions sector and its ability to meet the demanding requirements of large-scale infrastructure projects.
