Welspun Specialty Solutions has released its financial results for the second quarter of FY25, reporting declines in both revenue and profitability on a year-on-year (YoY) and quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis.
Key Financial Highlights:
Revenue: The company’s revenue for Q2 FY25 stood at ₹167.42 crore, reflecting a 19.6% YoY decrease from ₹207.82 crore in Q2 FY24. On a sequential basis, revenue showed a slight increase of 3.3% QoQ from ₹162.10 crore in the previous quarter (Q1 FY25).
Net Profit/Loss: Welspun Specialty Solutions posted a net loss of ₹6.35 crore in Q2 FY25, a significant drop from the net profit of ₹5.20 crore in the same period last year (YoY). The company also recorded a sharp decline in net profit from ₹1.95 crore in the previous quarter (QoQ).
These results reflect the challenges faced by Welspun Specialty Solutions in maintaining profitability, despite the slight improvement in revenue on a QoQ basis.
