Waaree Energies Limited has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) and Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL) for the supply of 150 MW solar power. This marks a significant development in the 170 MW solar project initially awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited (WFEL).

According to the company’s exchange filing on June 11, 2025, the execution responsibility for the project will now rest with the parent entity, Waaree Energies Limited. The project will generate clean energy through the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS), contributing to India’s renewable energy mission.

This solar power will be supplied to MPPMCL and Indian Railways, aligning with national targets of increasing green energy consumption. The agreement reinforces Waaree’s commitment to driving sustainable infrastructure and bolstering the energy transition across key sectors.
