Waaree Energies has announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024. The company posted steady revenue performance alongside a significant improvement in profitability on a year-over-year basis.
Key Financial Highlights for Q2 FY25:
- Revenue from Operations:
 Waaree Energies reported revenue from operations of ₹3,574.4 crore in Q2 FY25, showing minimal change compared to ₹3,537.8 crore in Q2 FY24. Sequentially, revenue increased by 4.8% from ₹3,409.9 crore in Q1 FY25.
- Net Profit:
 The company recorded a net profit of ₹375.69 crore in Q2 FY25, up by 17.4% YoY from ₹320 crore in Q2 FY24. However, net profit showed a sequential decline of 6.3% from ₹401.12 crore in Q1 FY25.
- Total Income:
 Including other income, total income for Q2 FY25 was ₹3,663.5 crore, up from ₹3,558.5 crore in Q2 FY24 and ₹3,496.4 crore in Q1 FY25.
- Expenses:
 Total expenses in Q2 FY25 rose to ₹3,164.6 crore, compared to ₹3,123.9 crore in Q2 FY24 and ₹2,965.8 crore in Q1 FY25. The increase was primarily driven by higher costs of materials consumed and finance costs.
