Vedanta Limited has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL), has successfully entered into a Settlement Agreement with SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation. The agreement was signed on September 11, 2025 and brings a decisive end to all long-standing disputes between the two parties.

The disputes were related to EPC contracts for the 3×660 MW Thermal Power Project set up by TSPL in Punjab. As per Vedanta’s regulatory filing, the Settlement Agreement ensures a full and final resolution of all claims and counterclaims, along with the withdrawal of ongoing arbitration proceedings.

This development marks a significant milestone for Vedanta as it closes out legacy disputes, offering greater clarity and stability to its power operations. The resolution is expected to strengthen TSPL’s operational position and provide a smoother path forward for the company’s thermal power business.
