Varun Beverages Limited (VBL), one of the largest franchise bottlers of PepsiCo globally, has commenced commercial production of carbonated soft drinks and packaged drinking water at its new manufacturing facility located in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh.
In a regulatory filing dated March 24, 2025, the company informed both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE Limited that the facility has started operations, further enhancing its production footprint in northern India. This development falls under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
This move is seen as part of Varun Beverages’ broader strategy to expand its manufacturing capabilities across strategic regions in India. The Kangra unit is expected to cater to increased demand during the summer season and optimize distribution logistics in Himachal Pradesh and neighboring states.
