Varroc Engineering Limited has secured a significant new contract in the electric mobility space, marking a major milestone in its global expansion. The company announced that it has won a strategic high-voltage electronics supply agreement with an electric vehicle OEM, strengthening its position in the rapidly growing e-powertrain market.
According to the company’s announcement, Varroc will supply a full suite of advanced high-voltage electronics, including power electronics units, inverters, onboard chargers, battery management systems (BMS), and DC-DC converters. Production will take place at Varroc’s established facility in Romania, ensuring global-standard manufacturing and timely supply schedules.
The contract spans eight years, with an estimated peak annual capacity of INR 8,000 million, based on the customer’s projected volume requirements.
Dhruv Jain, CEO – Business II at Varroc, said the new win validates the company’s capabilities in advanced electronics and its growing presence in the global EV ecosystem. He highlighted that Varroc’s focus on reliability, efficiency, and high-quality engineering positions it as a strong partner for OEMs transitioning towards electrification.
The partnership supports Varroc’s long-term strategy of expanding across electronics, lighting, and electric powertrain domains for global automotive customers. The company noted that it has been investing heavily in technology, design expertise, and systems integration to meet rising global demand for e-mobility, connectivity, and ADAS solutions.
Varroc Engineering, incorporated in 1988, is a global Tier-1 supplier with capabilities across E-mobility solutions, lighting, HMI, ICE powertrain components, and advanced electronics. The group reported ₹81,718 million income from continued operations in FY25 and operates 37 manufacturing facilities and seven R&D centres worldwide.
