Vardhman Textiles has announced the commencement of commercial production for approximately 17,000 spindles, marking a key milestone in its previously outlined capex plan. This update follows the company’s earlier disclosure on May 9, 2024, which detailed plans for expanding its spinning capacity.
The latest move reflects Vardhman’s focus on scaling up manufacturing to meet rising demand and strengthen its position in the textile sector.
Vardhman Textiles Q1 Results
Vardhman Textiles Limited posted its Q1FY26 results with a modest rise in revenue but a dip in profitability.
The company reported a 3% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations, reaching ₹2,385.66 crore. Total income stood at ₹2,455.96 crore, slightly up from ₹2,374.61 crore a year ago. However, despite steady material and employee costs, rising overall expenses weighed on margins.
EBITDA dropped to ₹338 crore from ₹361 crore in the same quarter last year, with EBITDA margin narrowing to 14.16% from 15.63%. Net profit came in at ₹207.68 crore, marking a 13% decline compared to ₹239.77 crore in Q1FY25.
