Valiant Communications Limited has announced a significant order win from THDC India Limited for its ransomware-resilient, on-premises key data center equipment. THDC, a Mini Ratna Category-I enterprise and subsidiary of NTPC, is enhancing its data infrastructure with Valiant’s advanced cybersecurity and data storage solutions.
The awarded project involves high-throughput, low-latency equipment designed for mission-critical applications. Valiant’s on-premises storage solutions incorporate multi-layered cybersecurity, including network isolation, quantum-safe encryption, data diodes, and EMP protection. These features aim to safeguard critical data assets in sectors like power, utilities, SCADA systems, government, finance, and defense.
CEO Inder Mohan Sood highlighted the growing need for such resilient solutions amid rising ransomware threats. “Organizations are prioritizing data protection and recovery with immutable storage and secure backup strategies,” he stated.
With the global data storage market projected to grow to USD 774 billion by 2032, Valiant is well-positioned to capitalize on this surge. The company’s ‘Made in India’ solutions cater to over 110 countries, offering comprehensive IT and OT communications, cybersecurity, and synchronization infrastructure.
