Vadilal Industries announced the appointment of Himanshu Kanwar as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Key Managerial Personnel, effective September 29, 2025.
The board approved his appointment for a five-year term following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Kanwar is a seasoned consumer business leader with over two decades of experience across FMCG majors and high-growth startups. He has previously held senior roles at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), including Business Head – Ice Creams, where he drove growth through strategic acquisitions and innovation. He also served as Global Brand Director for HUL’s South Asia Haircare portfolio.
Most recently, he was General Manager, Growth & Marketing Practice at XTO10X, mentoring consumer businesses in sectors like beauty, food, fintech, and OTT. An alumnus of IIM Calcutta and Delhi College of Engineering, Kanwar brings expertise in brand-building, digital fluency, and entrepreneurial strategy.
