Shares of VA Tech Wabag will be in focus on Wednesday, November 12, after the company announced its first investment under BLUE SEED, supporting Bengaluru-based Nimble Vision, a DeepTech startup working on indigenous solutions for water conservation, automation, and real-time analytics.
According to the press release, BLUE SEED is Wabag’s strategic initiative aimed at fostering WATERPRENEURS and scaling innovative water technology startups across India. The move reinforces the company’s long-term vision of building a self-reliant water technology ecosystem while driving digital transformation in water management.
Investment objectives
Through this strategic partnership, the company aims to strengthen India’s DeepTech capabilities in the water sector by combining Nimble Vision’s technology expertise with Wabag’s global experience. The investment will help Nimble Vision expand its IoT-based automation systems for water supply, treatment, and distribution networks.
The collaboration also focuses on:
- Enhancing AI-driven predictive analytics for leakage detection, energy optimization, and water quality management.
- Accelerating the development of smart sensors and controllers under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
- Deploying scalable automation and conservation platforms across municipalities, industries, and communities.
