V2 Retail has reported a strong performance for the second quarter of FY26, showcasing remarkable momentum across its business. The company achieved an impressive 86% year-on-year revenue growth, underlining the scalability and resilience of its model even against a high comparison base.
During Q2 FY26, V2 Retail’s standalone revenue reached ₹705 crore, up from ₹380 crore in the same period last year. This growth was driven by a combination of focused execution, innovative expansion, and deeper market penetration. Same-store sales also performed well, with a reported growth of 23.4% year-on-year. When adjusted for the Durga Puja festival shift from Q3 to Q2, the normalized growth stood at around 10.3%, reflecting strong consumer demand and disciplined inventory management with limited markdowns.
Store productivity remained robust, with monthly sales per square feet reaching ₹938, despite rapid expansion into new geographies. This demonstrates the effectiveness of V2 Retail’s sharper assortments, faster replenishment capabilities, and enhanced value offerings for customers.
The company continued its strategic expansion, adding 43 new stores in the quarter with a focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, which are now key drivers of the next wave of consumption. As of September 30, 2025, V2 Retail operated 259 stores with a total retail footprint of approximately 27.94 lakh square feet, further strengthening its reach and ability to serve a diverse customer base.
For the first half of FY26, V2 Retail recorded a 68% growth in standalone revenue, totaling ₹1,334.9 crore, alongside same-store sales growth of around 13.3%. The company added 70 new stores during this period, with only one closure.
