Urban Company has approved the incorporation of a new step-down subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates as part of its strategic global expansion plan. The company confirmed the move in a regulatory filing, noting that the new entity will operate under its wholly-owned Singapore-based subsidiary, Urban Home Experts Pte Ltd.
According to the filing dated November 1, 2025, the Board of Directors has cleared an initial investment of INR 3 crore, which will be infused in one or more tranches. The UAE subsidiary will engage in general trading activities, including supplying products to third-party service providers and aggregators operating on Urban Company’s platform in the region. It will also support the sale of the company’s “Native” branded products in the UAE market.
This expansion marks a significant step in Urban Company’s international growth ambitions, strengthening its footprint in the Middle East following earlier operational presence in the region. The company stated that the detailed disclosure, as mandated under SEBI norms, will be filed in due course.
Urban Company, which started as a home-services marketplace in India, has been widening its global reach and product portfolio over recent years as demand for organised home-care and personal services continues to grow.
