Travel Food Services Limited on Friday, December 7, informed the stock exchanges that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a First Information Report (FIR) in connection with an ongoing probe into alleged irregularities in airport food and beverage concession tenders dating back to 2012–2013.
In its regulatory filing with BSE and NSE, the company stated that the FIR—numbered RC2162025A0015 and dated December 02, 2025—has been registered against certain entities and individuals, including two erstwhile subsidiaries of TFS:
- Travel Food Services Chennai Pvt. Ltd.
- Travel Food Services Kolkata Pvt. Ltd.
Both entities were merged into Travel Food Services Limited on September 13, 2024.
According to the disclosure, the FIR pertains to alleged irregularities in the tender process for master concessionaire contracts for food and beverage operations at Chennai and Kolkata airports. These details were previously mentioned in the company’s Prospectus dated July 10, 2025, which noted that the CBI had initiated a preliminary enquiry into the matter.
TFS reiterated in its filing that the update has been shared in accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, 2015. The company also confirmed that the notice has been uploaded on its official website.
